  • Support 30 plus building campus. Buildings consist of GMP and R&D lab facilities, administrative and executive facilities.
  • Worked on and trouble shoot Fire Life Safety panels such as EST, Siemens XLS/MLC, Fire Lite and Notifer. In addition to with fire suppression system such as Cheetah, Fike, Ansul and Viking.
  • Took lead and support power shut down of buildings that includes leading inter department support in a team coordinate effort.
  • Knowledgeable on solvent supply and solvent waste systems. Also written preventive maintenance SOP for solvent supply system.
  • GMP trained and is currently assigned as either an owner or lead in Maximo system for GMP and R&D assets on a preventative maintenance schedule.
  • Hands on variety of building automation system such as Siemens, Johnson Controls, Automated Logic Controls and Cypress.
  • Support project engineering team with large and small lab moves which includes disconnecting and installing lab equipment. i.e incubators, -20, -80 and cryo storage, and centrifuges.
  • Maintained supply levels and primary contact for Gilead Sciences medical grade gases includes LN2, helium, hydrogen, argon, Co2 and compress process air.
  • Preventative maintenance on generators, vacuum pumps, reverse osmosis/ deionized water, incubators, minus 20/80 freezers, steam boilers, fume hoods, VBE's, autoclave, glass wash and cryogenic freezers.
  • Respond to campus related emergencies such as power outages/ brown outs, HVAC equipment failure, fire alarm response, etc.
  • Liquid helium and liquid nitrogen refills for NMR spectroscopy.
  • Coordinate with Gilead's approved vendors and contractors for support for small and large maintenance projects.
  • Experience in Vivarium lab environment.
  • Troubleshot equipment problems using tools such as multi-meters and general hand-tools.
  • Support and maintained sprinkler systems, domestic water systems and fire pumps.
  • Supervised elevator repairs completed by an outside contractor.
  • Changed lamps and ballasts and tested electrical circuitry.
  • Inspected and made minor repairs on burglar and fire alarm systems.
  • Maintained systems involving hazardous chemicals, gases and liquids.
  • Regularly updated the maintenance database using Maximo and Arcibus.
  • Repaired laboratory equipment such as Lyophilizers, autoclaves, Milli-Q's, centrifuges and incubators.
