Reports from professionals and community members of abandonment, abuse, financial exploitation, neglect and self-neglect of vulnerable adults, make referrals to other agencies and assesses imminent risk and safety. as outline in Chapter 6 of the long term care manual and in accordance with RCW 74.34.

Answer live calls, receive, collect, screen, process and input data into automated systems, research, and complete and assign reports.

Provided input to Multi-Disciplinary treatment team in regards to the needs of the youth. • Complete written documentation of youth behavior, case reporting, and assessments of the youth identifying treatment planning for the youth within the guidelines of the Integrated Treatment Model (ITM). Notify appropriate agencies and individuals as needed to comply with policy and treatment standards. •Managed a caseload up to 8 youth and provided direct client advocacy. •Developed and implemented treatment plans for youths; provided individual and group counseling and crisis intervention utilizing Cognitive Behavioral Treatment CBT and Dialectical Behavioral Therapy DBT. • Participated in pre-release planning for youths; parole officers and law enforcement and other state agencies; made contact for youth within the community. •Compiled and analyzed initial treatment report and numerous informational documents; used the information to prepare a variety of documents and reports for various courts and other legal settings. •Assist Living Unit counselors in their absence from campus. • Provided specialized treatment for youth who have sexually offended resident population including individual treatment sessions and intensive YSO groups.

Supervise, coach and train staff in a 16 bed acute mental health living unit ensuring that evidence based treatment is being provided in a safe and secure environment.

•Model professional standards of conduct and enforce state standards for ethics and use of state resources; conduct timely employee evaluations considering performance in relation to the knowledge, skills and abilities for the position; assess needs and ensure employees receive proper training to accomplish the duties of the position and for ongoing development. I provided coaching, mentoring, motivation and modeled effective performance. Facilitated informal and formal conflict resolution related to employee grievances; schedule and ensure completion of mandatory training of employees supervised; ensuring program compliance with all health, safety, and custody standards and requirements. Identified and tracked that all staff were trained and in compliance in with relevant statutes, rules, policies and procedures.

•Assess behavior of an assigned caseload of youth, prioritizing treatment targets, developing treatment plans, and implementing interventions based on JRA approved CBT/DBT treatment principles; providing leadership and on the job training in the delivery of CBT/DBT and evidence based treatment interventions with juvenile justice system youth; facilitate CBT/DBT skills curriculum and other approved treatment groups. Prepare and present cases for multi-disciplinary case staffing and other required case or administrative reviews as required. Monitor and ensure adherence and fidelity to clinical and environmental standards required by JRA's treatment model; performing basic data entry and retrieval functions using an electronic management information system (ACT).

•Educate youth and staff in the principles of JRA's Integrated Treatment Model, promote and role model competency in related skills; write and speak clearly and effectively in a professional objective manner; inspire confidence and trust in colleagues, youth and families, and stakeholders. Communicate effectively with a variety of groups, organizations and agencies, including juvenile justice and social services professionals; law enforcement, courts, schools, treatment providers. Promote productive connections with families and engage them in the rehabilitation and successful transition of youth; conveying warmth, and optimism in interactions with youth and families.
