This position receives, assesses. screens, processes and assigns for investigation. Reports from professionals and community members of abandonment, abuse, financial exploitation, neglect and self-neglect of vulnerable adults, make referrals to other agencies and assesses imminent risk and safety. as outline in Chapter 6 of the long term care manual and in accordance with RCW 74.34.
Answer live calls, receive, collect, screen, process and input data into automated systems, research, and complete and assign reports.
Collect and evaluate relevant information from reporters, contact collaterals, determine investigative response times based on risk and safety and assign the reports to an APS investigator.

• Supervised residents in an institutional setting who may have behavioral, psychiatric, social, medical, and or correctional problems which may include aggressive behavior. In a residential treatment unit, I ensured that all treatment, security, and management standards were met reflecting a professional conduct at all times. •In this position I planned, organized and supervised youth in individual and group activities, including social, leisure time and recreation. This included escorting youth to and from on campus school, clinic, dining area and other on campus sites. Awareness of resident and staff locations and of group dynamics was highly emphasized and would at times result in investigations and control of contraband.
