Document Control Specialist, 05/2018 to 04/2020
LMI Aerospace – St. Charles, MO
  • Processed Manual Timecard entry for hourly personal for entire St. Charles Plant via AS400.
  • Submitted daily email to management and HR tracking missing timecards.
  • Weekly meeting with HR to review timecard data.
  • Pull engineering changes from PORTALS ( Honda, Sikorsky, Boeing, Spirit and Vought/Trimph/Lockheed Martin) and submitted for review to engineering when Revision level change happened.
  • Manual printing of changes from PORTALS on Plotter and compiling printed papers, then folding to specific directions.

  • Created and implemented new process to reduce cycle time in approving design plans and engineering change requests.

  • Fill out export control request and followup to confirm before shipping request documents or Mylars out of the country to suppler or vendors.
  • Maintained document control system including work instructions, procedures and associated databases.
  • Pulling work instructions to match work orders to get to the inventory crib for process to the plant floor.
  • Verify work instructions revision level matches current work order request, if not then work with engineering to correct issue so work can flow to shop floor.
  • Updating and printed work instructions to keep up with changes made or demand for additional work.
  • Filing used work instructions as needed to be ready for next work order.
  • Submit Specification revisions levels for review to engineering and update when returned.
  • Scan all completed work orders after shipped out into OnBase for storage and file paper copies for back up.
  • Prepared new files and assigned tracking identification numbers, which resulted in better retrieval efficiency.
  • Adhered to all related company policies and government regulations regarding data oversight and confidentiality to promote overall information security.
  • Located missing file materials, which enabled multiple departments to meet project deadlines and avoid lost man-hours.
  • Team Center usage for acknowledgement of new revision levels that were not printed however accessed by using Teamcenter terminals placed in specific work areas
