I am a twenty two year old zoology student at Kentucky Wesleyan College. I plan to pursue a career as a game warden, conservation officer, after I obtain a bachelors degree from Kentucky Wesleyan Collge. My love of the outdoors and of people have led me to pursue this career.

All District Team for baseball in 2010.
Deans List in 2010-2011 for Kentucky Wesleyan College school year and spring term in 2012.
This position was also a summer job where I was a dock hand at the Peninsula Marina located on Barren River Lake. This required me to pump gas into customers boats as well as operate a cash register in the store. Along with these responsibilities I also assisted the owner in dock up keeping such as repairing dock siding, reattaching broken cables, boat repairs, and ramp relocations. This job required great interpersonal skills as I was around people constantly. Great communication skills helped me succeed in this summer position.
As a student at KWC, I was asked to take notes for three different classes. This position involves taking neat, organized notes for other students who need them or miss the class. This demonstrates neat organizational and writing skills.
Also as a lab tech I served in the science department preparing fruit fly vials for a genetics class. This involved caring for, and preparing flies for a genetics class over the fall period.
This position was a 2012 summer job as well as a part time job during the 2013 summer season. This position was for a lawn care buisness where I performed a wide variety of tasks involving lawn care and landscaping. Everything from weed-eating to clearing trees. I worked with a variety of different equipment and learned valuable skills.
As a laborer my job was to build scaffel and tend to the needs of the masons. This was a summer job where I was a member of a team building dorms for Lindsey Wilson College. This job was physically and mentally demanding. From this experience I also learned a wide variety of skills. I was around heavy machinery and performed multiple tasks such as building scaffel, making mortar, applying weather proofing and assisting a mason in laying brick and block. From this I took away knowledge of the construction industry and skills that would benefit me in everyday life.
I am currently in my fourth year, pursuing a undergrad degree in Zoology.
My interests include staying physically fit and active and anything outdoors. I love to fish as well as hunt and enjoy any activity in the woods such as riding four-wheelers.
I am member of the Kentucky Wesleyan Baseball team. This team reflects my love of sports but also my willingness to work hard and succeed. This baseball scholarship was hard earned through hard work through high school and is helping to pay for an education I plan on using to pursue a job as a conservation officer for the Kentucky Department of Fish and Wildlife.
Ive also completed 20 hours of volunteer work for the Family Youth Resource Center at Highland Elementary in Glasgow Kentucky, and the Raptor Center in Owensboro Ky where I cared for and tended to injured birds of prey.
