I became disabled in 2000 and was bedridden for over a year, I was able to be released to go back into the workforce in 2017 and I have enjoyed being able to help others with anything they needed me to do.
I try not to let my disability keep me from doing a job to the best of my ability.
Hello, my name is Jessica, but every one calls me Cricket. I am a 50 year old lady who used to live in Tennessee before moving to California in 2019 after I got married. I am the mom to 2 grown sons and a stepdaughter plus I have 2 grandkids that own not only my heart, but also their Pop-Pops heart. I am a Christian and I do attend church on Sunday Mornings and I am also the assistant treasurer there plus I will be heading up the Children's Church Christmas Carol Choir. Enough about my personal life.
I know that I don't have the job experience as a dispatcher that TCI might require, but I am a fast learner and a hard worker. I am disabled and walk with a cane, but I have never let my disability stop me from doing a job to the best of my ability. I am looking for a part-time night position that would give me no more than 20 hours a week and what better industry to work in than the one that I grew up in with my dad being OTR, then he went regional, then local before becoming a warehouse manager before retiring due to health issues. I have an uncle who was an OTR driver, then went local in Oklahoma, I have a cousin and his wife who are OTR out of Arkansas, a nephew who is a local driver in Tennessee as is my Oldest son too and I am married to a TCI Driver.
So you see that I have grown up in this industry and love it cause to me Trucking is the only industry (besides healthcare) that keeps this country on its feet and I am just asking for the chance to try my hand at being a part-time nightshift dispatcher.
Thank you for taking the time to look at my resume and for considering me for the position.
May God Bless You and Your Family,
Sincerely,
Jessica (Cricket) Claire
