  • Management of a satellite day service program serving adults with disabilities.
  • Responsible for overseeing administrative and fiscal operations of the program's services including the development and monitoring of a million dollar annual budget.
  • Direct 25 employees with responsibility for hiring, firing, training, supervising, and evaluating performance.
  • Promote and develop services for 60 program participants and ensure full implementation of Individual Service Plans.
  • Maintain compliance with all agency policies and procedures and with all applicable local, state and federal standards and regulations.
  • Develop/maintain relationships with community members, donors and service organizations to increase awareness and funding for services.
  • Work collaboratively with the Fund Development Department in Grant writing, project management and developing donor relationships.
  • Influence agency growth and improvement through service on the Core Management Team, Personnel Committee, Program Management Committee, Wage and Hour Committee, Program Development groups, Disaster Preparedness and various other work groups.
  • Teacher of Record providing oversight of the instruction of adults with disabilities in community access skills, life skills, workplace skills, and functional academics, including tracking and processing of accountability paperwork for Santa Rosa Junior College, a Becoming Independent funding source.

  • Provide instruction to group classes of up to 15 students and their dogs including the proper use of training equipment, instruction on basic obedience, and knowledge/practice of animal learning theory including operant conditioning, shaping, stimulus control and reinforcement.

  • Hired to assist the Program Director in overseeing the operation of the service and to act as Director in her absence.

  • Assisted in the creation and updating of training materials for employees.
  • Oversight of all Health and Safety practices and ensured regular training of employees.
