Intoxalock SEO Project: Partnered with another member of the marketing team to design and implement an SEO campaign to maximize Intoxalock partner placement in "Ignition Interlock" related Google searches on a local basis. In this campaign, we had approximately 1,000 of our installer shops opt in to have their business listed as an Intoxalock installer so that they would appear higher in primary Google search results for local ignition interlock installers in their respective areas while also avoiding cannibalizing that shop's potential non-interlock related inquiries. Nearly all partners that participated in this project saw a significant improvement in their Google Maps listing as well as their website's position on the Google search results page if they were not already a top returned result.
Blue Moon Dueling Piano Bar: An independent project requiring prior research into and direct contact with a local Des Moines business. We were tasked with seeking company or organization based in Des Moines, IA and evaluating their implementation of the "4 P's" of Marketing(Product, Price, Place and Promotion). I sat down with the General Manager of the bar in a one-on-one interview and delved into the business's various marketing activities. Then, after I had all of my information, I wrote a 6-page report including a summary of their current strategy, making and justifying strategic suggestions and creating materials that the bar could use as templates for future.
Pet Medical Center of Urbandale: Group marketing project where a team would conduct research on a local business and create a campaign going forward for the business to implement. Sat down with the owner/head veterinarian of the pet clinic and conducted an interview. We then took the information we gathered from he, as well as her story and passion, and created a plan for her to maximize her community outreach and local brand recognition.
Colette Travel: Team Marketing Project wherein we were assigned a travel destination from a list of Colette packages and to create a full marketing campaign from scratch around said location and its attractions. This project was particularly difficult because all estimates that had a monetary value had to be pulled directly from real industry databases and justified within a stringent marketing budget. Every expense was to be mapped out and explained.
