June 20th, 2012 Letter of recommendation for Mr. Grant Zilkowski" Introducing Mr. Grant Zilkowski, I have known Grant Zilkowski for eight years and have had the pleasure of sharing my love of photography, art and production with him throughout those years. Grant has shown himself to be a studious, diligent and innovative student. He is fun to be with and knows the importance of meeting deadlines when there is work to be done. He has a wonderfully creative eye that shines through in his photographs. He would be an asset to any organization. I have spent the last thirty-five years in the world of photography and film. I have worked with the top photographers in the world and have shown my work in over forty exhibits. I was one of the principal photographers for the Ellis Island Restoration Project, have won numerous awards for my photos and films and received a special commendation from the National Park Service for coordinating the new exhibits on Ellis Island when it first reopened. My work has been published in both magazine and book formats and some of my images are part of The National Archives in Washington, D.C. My background affords me the expertise to notice when someone has a special talent for working with other people and for getting the job done in a timely manner.
