I have worked in the Human Resources field with the US Army for over 3 years of my Active Duty. Additionally I was an administrator for a Department of Defense (DOD) travel and budgeting system called Defense Travel System (DTS).
I am skilled in Microsoft word, Excel, and Powerpoint; I have limited but improving skills with Microsoft Access.
I have been responsible for the accountability of over 4,000 Service Members at a time, as well as the liaison between all Service Members and DOD Finance, personnel actions and Military Personnel Division (MPD) for the Department of the Army (DA).
I am a skilled individual when working with the public, my personal relations skills have been rated as outstanding by previous leadership.

While an active duty Soldier, I received numerous awards for outstanding service which include but are not limited to:

Maintained 100% accountability of a large section of equipment worth over $1,300,000 during multiple overseas deployments.

Expanded multi-lateral relations withIraq and the US to strengthen security and partnership.
Responsible for the administration of DTS at the organization level and assist the LDTA with overall DTS administration for the site.
Position required individuals at the organization level who were involved in their organizations current travel process and who needed to remain involved in DTS. Civilian title translatess to the following positions; resource managers, transportation managers, communications/IT managers, security managers, and personnel managers.
As an ODTA I was the primary point of contact for the subordinate organizations and was responsible for the following:
Successful implementation and administration of DTS at their respective levels.
Creation and maintenance of sub-organizations and their routing lists, groups and lines of accounting/budgeting.
Identification of routing, finance and budgetary officials and resources that will assist in administering DTS

Reviewed and edited correspondence prior to release and submission for signature.
Logged and filed classified documents.Trained and instructed subordinates and supported units on all personnel actions for DA forms and publications.
Effective decision-maker in high-pressure environments.
Coordinated training schedules and filed crucial administrative paperwork.
Maintained complete accountability during redeployment of all sensitive items and communication equipment.
Commanded operations post, including personnel, weapons and equipment.
Reviewed military laws to confirm and enforce company compliance.

Facilitated bi-weekly sync meetings to develop strategies that would positively influence workplace relationships.
Processed all salary changes stemming from merit increases, promotions, bonuses and pay adjustments upon rank promotion for over 172 Service Members at a time.
