 First job was at warehouse for 6 months, Next job was working at Target for two years, and now, Customer Care Rep for an energy company.

  I moved up the ladder in both of my past careers within a few months of being employed. Went from the recycle line to being asked to become a scanner, getting paid 8.50 an hour to 10 dollars an hour at Genco. Went from sales floor team member to Brand member, 8.25 an hour to 8.75 an hour at Target. Both of the new positions required me to work harder, handle more responsibility, and take a leadership role. In these areas i rose to the challenge and proved myself.Even my job now, Since the first month i was hired, i was top 3 in our rankings over all which added in additional pay bonuses .
In school, I was on the National Honor society, I played basket ball, was on the track track team and i also was on Student council. I like getting involved, being a part of a team and excelling. I even received two MLK Jr Scholar awards for my academics.

- Answer inbound calls
- Help Customers find an electric rate that best fits there needs
- Answer Customers questions regarding their electric Contract, billing inquires, update their account information, send bills
- In this job I used a lot of systems. I had to use, Ecommerce, billing, which allowed us to see transactions being made, what charges were charged to the account, provisioning, mass market, and Dynamics that allowed us to notate every call that we took. This job required me to be knowledgeable with different computer systems.

  • My job was to take the blueprints that corporate sends Target, and set up the store the way they want it.
  • This involved.
  • moving fixtures, changing signs, and making labels.
  • The most important job i have to do is tie, drop and set the pogs.
  • Corporate sends the store blueprints and listings of new product that the store will receive each week.
  • My job is to tie the pog number to a convertible, make a batch for the new product, make labels for the product, pick up the batch, and then set the product accordingly out onto the sales floor, where it will be available for our guest.
  • The number one job before setting the pogs, is making sure our guest's needs are being met to the up most satisfaction,which means: engaging with our guest and making sure they are finding everything alright and if they need help Help them find things they cannot locate, and even grabbing an item from the back room that is not on the sales floor.
  • Answering phone calls and looking for things in the store for the quest on the phone, using polite and friendly customer service, helping others along the way.
  • Even responding for back up to the front check out lanes when the store gets busy and they need more people to help ring guest out.
  • I even have to help other team members do carry outs of large items to the guest's cars.

I completed a semester and a half. I ended up needing surgery my second semester and was out of school for about two weeks. Because i was absent from school because of my surgery and the recovery time, i missed too many classes and was not going to be able to make up my hawk before the semester was over so I had to withdraw. The following semester i immediately enrolled in CSCC.
Interests
My interest outside of work:
I love to draw and write poetry in my free time. When I'm bored and nothing is good on t.v, I will crack open a good book and read for hours. I love the out doors, playing sports outside, hiking, keeping my self busy. I enjoy getting involved with things I've never tried, i love a good challenge, and i am a very competitive person.
Skills
I am very good with computer systems: excel, word, filling, desk top publishing. I know how to interact with People and make them feel comfortable and open up with me. I am self motivated, don't need outside incentives to push me. I am a quick study, quick on my feet i adapt well with my surroundings.
