Volunteered at the Trick for treat for hunger, Canned
Food drive, Halloween spooktacular, Christmas Basket distribution, and Summer meal program. I have been an active volunteer since 2014.
A group of students and myself applied and were chosen to be part of Assembly member Cristina Garcia 58th District. The program was designed for students to get to know and understand the importance and role the state government plays in our businesses, industries, and cities. I participated in monthly meetings at different locations such as Young Legislators main office, Coca Cola factory in Downey, UCLA, Metro headquarters, SA recycling Plant and took a three day trip to the State Capitol and learned about the process of making a bill. This was a very educational. insightful, memorable, and great experience. The program went from December 2017- June 2018.
