Foster a highly collaborative working relationship with local law enforcement and first responders in BRCC Communities; Establish Memorandum of Understanding with local law enforcement agencies in BRCC Communities.
Ensure federal, state, and local compliance with the Office of Environmental Health & Safety Department and the College's security and police-related policies, procedures, and guidelines.
Compliance includes, but not limited to the Jeanne Clery Disclosure of Campus Security Policy and Campus Crime Statistics Act (Clery Act), United States Education Amendments of 1972 (Title IX); Department of Education (DOE); Office of Risk Management (ORM); Occupational Safety and Health Administration (OSHA); National Fire Protection Agency (NFPA); Environmental Protection Agency (EPA); Americans with Disabilities Act (ADA); and Title IX.
Maintains effective communication and collaboration with the Vice Chancellor for Finance.
Implement College-wide Comprehensive Safety Training Program; Responsible for planning, developing and implementing safety, security, and law enforcement functions at all BRCC locations.
Collaborate with BRCC Constituents, EHS Director, Campus Police personnel, and BRCC Communities to effectively manage and mitigate risks at the College.
