Coordinated and moderated guest speaker sessions and workshops with Mark Ruffalo, directors Damien Chazelle ("Whiplash"), Will Eubank ("The Signal"), Maya Forbes ("Infinitely Polar Bear"), Justin Simien ("Dear White People") and organization Chairman of the Board, Rick Hess (Evolution Media Capital/CAA). Created schedule, organized photo opportunities, talent transportation to/from venue. Involved coordinating with CAA publicity dept and sponsoring agents and talents' managers and publicists. Created schedule for ICF Sundance fellows, including coordinating with Sundance for tickets, all travel and accommodations, most had never been on a plane before. Results: Relationship management on behalf of ICF resulted in securing Damien Chazelle and Will Eubank to conduct and ongoing communications between organization and talent for future events and educational sessions. Direction for casting was to feature only Yogurtland employees and real people for location shoots in LA, New Orleans and Hawaii. Created audition methods for Yogurtland employees and videotaped auditions. Convinced marketing dept to enhance scripted scenes with actors as long as there was no extra cost. Created the breakdown, organized casting sessions, auditioned and cast talent. Hired non-union talent willing to work for free in exchange for reel and great experience. Results: Corporate was thrilled with results and the webisodes became the featured sizzle presentation at their annual franchisee event. Los Angeles, 2009-2013 Talent Responsibilities - "Wedding Palace" Independent Feature Film (SAG) Award winning feature film with select theatrical distribution in the US and throughout Asia; VOD via Warner Digital and Gravitas Ventures. Prep / Production Selected and negotiated contracts for main cast in US and also an award-winning actress from S. Korea. Roles required intensive talent scoutingin Asian American talent community throughout N. America, including LA, NY, SF, and Canada. Included local scouting at community and school theaters, improv groups, open mic stand-up comedy nights, short films. Included finding minors and scouting non-professionals. Scouted / hired English dialog coach for lead Korean actress Arranged travel, local accommodations, ground transpo, and personal assistance for main actress in USA and main actor for Korea productions. Negotiated SAG modified low budget with diversity bump agreement, and handled other SAG paperwork including short form deal memos, Taft Hartley's, payroll time cards and all paperwork for US cast while shooting in Korea. ADR session - scheduled, coordinated talent, prepared sides, filed and submitted all SAG paperwork Wrote cast descriptions Created and prepared audition sides Marketing Cast voice over talent for trailers and: 30 spots. Involved creating voice description, creating project profile on relevant sites, reviewing submission candidates, casting talent, supervising final voice recording, invoicing/payment to talent. Promotion/Release Scheduled and coordinated cast for all promotional events related to the opening weekend (NY & LA), Red Carpet Premiere & After-Party, festivals, Q&A's, college campus tour, press conference, one-on-one interviews with press. Also responsible for hiriing and paying emcee and musical talent for premiere after-party. Director Martin Strachan Secured and negotiated contract for Edward Furlong Re-cast "no show" actor on-set. Located director's back-up choice and booked actor with agent. Actor arrived on-set ready to shoot within 2 hours. Worked with AD to modify director's shot list schedule. Results: Production kept schedule and made all coverage for the day.
