Was assigned as business lead for the ICD10 Care management project

Anthem Care Management ACM
  • Business Lead for ECC & WMDS- ICD10 Responsibilities included holding JAD sessions, requirements and guiding principles writing, Requisite Pro, test scenario/case writing, RQM, Requisite Pro, Clear Quest, performing UAT, coordinating Business Checkouts.
  • Identified & remediated all areas of impact including intake, utilization management, care management, PSCCR, interfaces, reporting, system impacts, feeds/interfaces, policies, procedures, & job aids.
  • Worked with other ICD10 teams both internally and externally to ensure a smooth transition.
  • Created Visio flows for both the project and system level.
  • Also created the Visio flows that were used by IT to program the new ECC JCS rules.
  • Supported the migration from Auto Coder to EncoderPro.
  • Identified issues/defects and ways to resolve them.
  • Facilitated meetings, created agendas & minutes, held daily calls with IT to get past issues jeopardizing our dates.
  • Mentored new hires & held weekly check points with BA's assigned to me to disperse work and get updates.
  • Supported numerous MaxMC upgrades for both ECC and WMDS.
  • Worked with training to ensure training materials were accurate and timely.
  • Supported the AIX and Oracle upgrades for WMDS that were needed to accommodate ICD10.
  • Coordinated the Auto Configuration process where we mapped tables from ICD9 to ICD10.
  • This included Code Competency Meetings with Medical Directors, IT for system extracts, review of complex mappings using HLI, expert Excel skills, etc.
  • Validated changes in a UAT environment, reported defects, entered derivations manually into the system (admin skills) and then validated in production.

  • Served as the business lead on the PRAWS project to lead requirement sessions and testing efforts.
  • I also assisted on the AIM SRX Portal (SRX/PRAWS) project to write eligibility requirements for Q-Care/WGS/Star.
  • Provided test coordination for the BABW- West, NE, Central, & NY projects.
  • Supported varies other projects to assist with requirement sessions and testing efforts such as: Alternative Network, and AIM Cardiac Services.
  • Supported various Care Management initiatives such as Medical Policy Automation, ECC Reporting Change Requests, and other lights on tasks.
  • Worked as the reports administrator for ECC reporting requests.

Empire Blue CrossBusiness Analyst II
  • Coordinated telephony and IVR (Member and Provider) change requests for new and existing business.
  • Responsibilities included: Requesting 800#, opening a change request, creating an IVR script, review of CCT call flows, determine/modify call center specifics (i.e.
  • hours of operation, routing for call overflow, emergency shutdown, etc.), and distribution of new Aspect headsets.
