Substance Use Disorders (SUD) affect people from all walks of life, age, race, and religion. Substance Use does not discriminate, but they are treatable and many people DO recover. Honest, hard working, caring, motivated, DEDICATED, team player, and very talented Behavioral Health / Mental Health / SUD Technician (Should be a CRS as of now but due to Covid-19 after 2 classes completed DDAP cancelled all remaining classes until further notice) with a deep passion to help guide clients to their fullest potential. Monitor behaviors of clients and encourage to participate in appropriate activities as noted within plan of care. As a Behavioral Health Technician I NEVER had a client/patient leave AMA (Against Medical Advisory) when I had the opportunity to sit, communicate with them, and use our mindfulness skills to get the clients mind to focus on the here and now and realizing they are in the safest environment for them at the present moment! Knowledgeable with SUD (Substance Use Disorder) and Mental Health program requirements, support strategies and skill-building techniques. Focused on helping clients improve wellbeing and functioning by preventing Substance Use and improving confidence one day at a time. Diligent program support professional well-versed in evaluating the behavioral and physical needs of all clients. Adept at documenting daily activities and special incidents while effectively managing client needs, assisting with treatment coordination and supporting program operations. I don't think there is a word that would be worthy or strong enough to carry, or tell my desire and willingness to help those who are sick and suffering.
