  • Advised domestic arm of international company transporting diesel from US-based facilities to international destinations regarding Jones Act restrictions associated with chartering vessels to foreign entities and pursuing work-arounds, including general exclusions, securing MARAD permission pursuant to regulation, and contract of affreightment as proposed by contract counter-party; created hybrid charter agreement marrying terms from typical, domestic time charter agreements and incorporating appropriate provisions of ShellTime4 contract to accomplish same.
  • Assist clients with employee issues, including drafting employment contracts, stock award agreements, 83(b) elections, employee severance agreements, and related contracts and managing/tracking employee stock and option grants, vestings, surrenders, etc.
