What I gained from this experience was a bond with every resident, listening to their stories of their youth and experiences through life which really enlightened me and taught me a lot about life, mistakes, growing up, and family, friend, and school situations. My participation really helped me be more careful in dealing with people, their feelings, and their needs. I learned responsibility in a way where I must out someone else's needs before my own. Leadership International Business Awareness Club My sisters club, the International Business Awareness Club (IBAC) stands for an opportunity to encourage members to engage in and share their ideas about what they think a business should represent, promote discussions regarding the functions and priorities of specific businesses, and team communication. I was the Secretary of IBAC and my responsibilities were to aid at the monthly meetings, attend all club meetings, and to help set up a table for IBAC on Club Rush days. My position has made me more controlled over my time and responsibilities. When I was Secretary of IBAC, it taught me how to be on time to the club meetings and how to help my sister during the Club Rush days, which will aid me in my future leadership opportunities. So far being Secretary has made me more passionate about running my own business, such as my own law firm to be able to control everything on my own. Communication My experiences in volunteering and my internship have led me to be more aware of how a work environment should function, how everyone must coincide in order to succeed, and the proper ways to speak with others.
