As a Veterans Service Officer I have been involved with over 70 hearings for veterans before the Detroit Regional Office and the Board of Veterans Appeals in Washington D.C, & organized annual training classes for all the AMVETS Post Service Officers in the State of Michigan to keep them up to speed on VA Law and Regulations as well as AMVETS Policy and Procedure in assisting veterans and their dependents with claims to the Department of Veterans Affairs.
I assisted the Service Department Director in finding locations for all of our field service officers to work out of according to the regulations that were put forward in the grant that we have received from the State of Michigan.
