Hired as fuel associate at the beginning of this Wawa just starting to serve fuel. I was shift leader when fuel supervisor was not there. I cleaned the pumps, took out trash, serviced vehicles as needed, kept fuel pad clean and clear of debris, worked cash register with credit cards, debit cards, and gift cards, and helped my coworkers as needed. Trained new associates when hired to fuel. I shoveled snow off the fuel pad and surrounding walkways then salted afore mentioned areas of store.
originally hired as hand packer. Placed cd's, booklets, inserts and other music related notes into cd case before running pieces through shrink wrapper to seal cd and then placed into cardboard box for shipping. Upon completing this stage I was then promoted to automatic line packaging. This machine operated with three individuals working together to insert raw materials into machine, machine then assembled pieces together into one case and sent cd case further down production line for application of sticker(s) or to be flipped for applying bar code on back of cd case. I then was promoted to line leader who was in charge of machine, crashing and clearing of parts, restarting and also navigated the other two workers on line to efficiently and smoothly produce end product. After having been on the job for twelve years I was once again promoted to forklift operator. This position entailed many aspects and had many others relying on me so they to can do their job as well. I delivered raw materials to operating lines, took away finished goods, made packaging labels, weighed finished product for shipping, wrapped finished product, stacked skids into tractor trailers for shipping. I retrieved empty skids to packaging lines as needed.
Course of study was college prep. This was a private school with great expectations for all graduates to continue on into the college realm. I did graduate with a 3.6 GPA.
