My professional history is varied to say the least: Teacher, Sign Language Interpreter, and Flight Attendant. Furthermore, I have a repertoire of instructional strategies and best practices that I use on a daily basis. Taking time to develop routines, repetition, and review has increased student learning and knowledge retention in the classroom. I take pride in getting to know my students and meeting their needs.
My experiences as Sign Language Interpreter and Flight Attendant have served me well in communicating with others, understanding differences, and being flexible when things do not go as planned.
Taught all subject areas in fifth and third grade: Storylords Reading, Math, Hands-On Science, Jr. Great Books. Coached all basketball levels on weekends from October-March each year. Taught summer school two summers.
