To Whom it may concern,
My name is George Azur II and I am writing you with interest in the Junior Varisty Basketball Coaching Positon. I consider myself a Falcon for life. I graduated North Country High School in 1991, and then Studied Sports Management and Business Management for 4 years at Lyndon State college. I now Own and Operate Azurs Mini Mart/Little G's Deli. I am currently lucky enough to be at the point were I have flexible hours and am able to fit in my other passion, Coaching. I have had sports in my life since I could shoot a basket or throw a ball. I have played Basketball, Tennis, Baseball, and Soccer through my entire childhood and teenage years. I was placed 12th in New England for Tennis at age 14 . I Played Varsity Sports, while I was a freshman, and Played 2 years of College Tennis and 4 years of College Baseball, which led to a single A contract for the New York Yankees. I have found through all of this that my true enjoyment has been Coaching. I love inspiring kids to do their best, to learn from their mistakes, to have a passion for the sport they play, all while teaching them fundamentals of the game, good sportsmanship, and team work. I have been coaching Basketball and other sports, for the last 10 years, and have worked with some of the best players that North Country has coming up in the ranks today. It would be a great privilege to Coach for a school that I am so proud of., and to help build North Country's Basketball Program.
