Work History
04/2011 to Current 1SG Arizona Army National Guard | City, STATE,

As the primary enlisted leader for the United states Army Flight Training Detachment (USAFTD), I assist the commander in the development, planning, coordination and execution of all detachment activities. Advise the commander on all enlisted administrative, training and mission support matters to include, but not limited to operations, maintenance, and logistics. The Royal Singapore Air Force (RSAF) has 8 AH-64 D model APACHE Helicopters that are assigned to the Peace Vanguard unit that the USAFTD assisted in facilitating training with. This includes deployments, maintenance, and gunnery operations. I am currently the senior enlisted that oversees all of these operations.

02/2010 to 04/2011 1SG Arizona National Guard | City, STATE, As the 1SG of the Western Army National Guard Aviation Training Site (WAATS), I oversaw the enlisted training center. The enlisted training center conducted various courses to include 15P, 15R, 15V, 15X, and instructor and NCOES courses. The 14 instructors that worked under myself coordinated with TRADOC to update POI's and to facilitated the most current Army training on Army aircraft to include AH-64's, OH-58's, and implement new changes to software and publication manuals.  The enlisted training center conducted training on approximately 100 students every year.
01/2009 to 02/2010 1SG, JFHQ Arizona Army National Guard | City, STATE,     As the 1SG for JFHQ, I coordinated and planned with the State Command Sergeant major, Chief of Staff and the General for the state of Arizona training for the State of Arizona. This included inputting soldiers in for schools, training schedules, annual trainings, and soldiers pay. I also worked on several occasions with the Joint staff on State emergencies to activate soldiers.
03/2003 to 01/2009 Senior enlisted instructor/Helicopter Mechanic Arizona Army National Guard | City, STATE, As a senior enlisted instructor for the Western National Guard Aviation Training Site (WAATS), I instructed various courses to included AH-64 APACHE, OH-58 SCOUT helicopter enlisted mechanic courses. These courses taught the repair, replace, and the rebuild of aircraft structures that included landing gear, fuel systems, power train and power plants. During my years as an instructor I learned how to repair and replace damage components on aircraft and remove and replace major components using hoists and other heavy lifting devices. As a previous aircraft mechanic, I disassembled and installed major aircraft components, repair and replaced instruments, avionics/navigation, electrical/electronic, fuel/oil systems and other associated aircraft accessories.
As a Ordnance technician I have a work history of using test equipment to diagnose malfunctions, isolate causes and correct breaks to repair faulty wiring.
