Review applications, resumes, vitas and transcripts for consideration of employment. Oversees screening, testing, interview of candidates and provide feedback and recommendations to hiring managers. Participate on search committees for hiring of senior level positions. Negotiate and close offers, oversee the maintenance of applicant files and database. Implementation of tracking systems of ADP Prospective, JD Edwards and Banner HRIS software.
  • Benefits: Management of benefit personnel and activities to include benefit plan administration, COBRA administration, leave of absence including FMLA, administration of disability plans, as well as assistance with administration of 403B retirement plan with the responsibility of enrollment, review and sign off on retirement transfers and/or withdrawals.
  • Computer Applications: Experience with a variety of computer software applications including Microsoft Office, SunGard Banner, ADP HR Prospective, Abra, and (AS400) JD Edwards Human Resource Information Systems.

Lead Human Resources Analyst for Renewal and Improvement process. Train managers to properly apply Human Resource policies, procedures and processes. Oversee execution of positing and advertising of open positions. Responsibilities are varied and require a high degree of confidentiality, discretion, independent judgment, and initiative. Responsibilities included processing of all human resources transactions into the Human Resources System, i.e. new hires, salary increases, promotion/demotions, transfers and separations. Provided orientation for newly hired employees. Assist with benefits in the absence of benefits coordinator. Administer the Human Resources Information System; driving the implementation of the new Banner Information System. Prepare and analyze computerized reports (AAP/EEO/Comp/Employee Census etc.); Assure that new hire documents/files are complete and entered into the employee database before payroll deadlines. Issue new hire job offer letters and annual end date reports; Maintain validation tables and rules forms in the system. Conduct employee orientation, and supervise data entry and file room clerks. Responsible for receiving and processing all Staff Personnel Actions, (i.e. PAF's, HR Requisitions, Separation Notices, Supplemental Pay, Transfers, Promotions and Demotions). Ensure that all required signature of approvals are obtain from appropriate personnel. Accountable for accuracy in processing and entering new hires, reappointments, separation and benefits into the Banner HRIS. Assist employees with visa applications with immigration and naturalization department and ensure that the process is in a timely manner. In the absence of the Personnel Transaction Supervisor serve as backup in generating or requesting reports and validation of system processes; and assist with other projects and assignments as required. Administers the organization's employer sponsored and voluntary benefit programs. Ensures required paperwork, record-keeping and documentation is complete and accurate for data entry into Banner. Works closely with AIRMI, to facilitate, coordinate, or resolve issues related to employee benefits.
