  • Currently reporting to the Plant Manager with a dotted line to the Corporate HR Director of Human Resources.
  • Develop, direct and coordinate implementation of all collective bargaining activity for two-hundred union employees at the St. Louis location.
  • Provide advice and counsel to company first line supervisors and department managers concerning management/union relations.
  • Maintain close communication with Plant Managers on issues warranting attention and/or authorization.
  • Serves as the Company advocate in proceedings arising under the terms of union contracts, Third Step grievances, government charges, suits and demands related to labor relations throughout the company.
  • Represents the Company during disciplinary meetings with employees.
  • Assisted with the startup of two JW Aluminum non-union facilities - Jackson, TN and Ā Russellville, AR
  • Provide support to Company's business leaders and the Human Resources Department in key areas including labor relations, recruiting, performance management, employee relations, benefits assistance, training, administration and interpretation of company policies and programs.
