§Oversee and responsible for the stores total operations by helping to formulate policies, human resources, prepare budgets of anticipated sales, expenses and inventories, thus obtaining profit goals
§Review and examine financial statements, income statements, balance sheets, discuss company and local trends with CEO and team members
§Provide operational, financial and organizational direction in the areas of merchandising, expense and lost control, profit management, budget planning and supervision in order to ensure efficient an economically sound operations
§Other essential functions include management, buying, purchasing, hiring/staffing, training, marketing, and consistent customer service. Coordinate all matters related to receiving records, invoices, transfers, and purchase orders
§Assure that all departments and managers are working in concert. Evaluate performance and pursue developmental plans that embrace strong business results
ØExperienced in start-ups. From just an exterior building, opened a new store. This involved detailed follow-thru and follow-up with contractors, vendors and all newly hired team members
ØCreated a Safety Team by training all four stores using OSHA standards
ØNominated by the City of Bloomington for Outstanding Food Safety
ØHeightened the employee's codes of conduct which in turn improved overall performance of the workplace. Specifically, defined codes which made the roles and expectations of the employees more distinct
ØUnfortunately, I also have experience closing two stores. This process takes just as much leadership and detailed execution as opening a new store because emotions and the culture can change in an instant
