The highlights section of a resume is also known as a resume summary. Try to be as specific as possible in your highlights section: "In my first year as a project manager, I cut costs by 15 percent and implemented five new processes that boosted efficiency by 25 percent."
Also, try to use as many relevant keywords as possible from the job description, which will make it easy for a hiring manager to see how you’re qualified for a position (it will also help get your resume past an ATS).
Make sure you do your homework on the company so that you're including highlights that are in line with the company's mission or industry statement, which can be found on an organization’s website or through its social media accounts. As with any information on a resume, always be truthful – any lies detected and snooped out will quickly eliminate you from consideration.

A final format is to begin with an introductory sentence and then follow up with a bulleted list. Consider the goals of the company and take a look at the format of the job description to help you decide which format is best for your resume.
