- Adjunct professor at 4 universities, including University of Chicago, Adams State, University of Denver and University of Phoenix. Taught numerous courses on brain research and how to use this to effectively teach young children and adults.
- Served on State Department for Colorado Gifted Board
- Trained over 500 teachers in Douglas County on best practices in math instruction.
- Presented at CCTM Conferences, NCTM conferences and PEBC conferences.

- Upon retirement from the classroom worked with McGraw Hill to train teachers all over the world. Presented trainings on five continents each year.
- Worked with Prince of Dubai on a five year project to have every school, preschool through university, use technology as part of daily instruction. Traveled to Dubai four to five times a year to work in UAE with teachers.
- Worked extensively with Normal University in Philippines. Helped country rewrite their Math standards, which were at an 8th grade level in the US when their students graduated. Conducted 35 workshops with teachers, usually 200 in the audience or more, showing them how to raise the bar and improve student performance.
- Worked with University of Chicago and Everyday Math research program. Trained teachers in 39 states on Everyday Math and in 22 different countries.
- Published six articles.
