I went from being a Team Leader to a PSA because I could never go up in the store due to my mother also working for Lowe's. So I took the job that had Mon-Fri hours and it was a job I loved doing. Then once they down sized I was the one who had been doing the job the least amount of time so I got moved to another area of the store. These are several things I did as a PSA for Lowe's.Designed displays to make the store interactive and engaging. Displayed the signage for products and sales promotions. Also focused on customer service at the same time. Always changing the store around with resets and updating of planograms.
I worked side by side with my department manager, I even ran the department when she was out for 7 weeks for surgery. I could never move up due to my mother worked at the store. These are a few of the things I did on a regular business day. We unloaded the truck and placed all the product on the shelves or into top stock area. Also helping customer's every step of the way. Was responsible for weekly reports to see how the department was doing in sales and margin.Also was responsible for helping out with working on cash register on sometimes daily basis. Had to count designated area's to help control the shrink. Maintained a weekly schedule, very dependable, and work well with others.
I was a vendor for Ideal Merchandising we worked at Lowe's store's, we were the same equivalent of the current PSA.
Did Resets on a daily basis, using store's planogram. Required to make sure the store's displays were working, that the store was clean, that it was shopper friendly, and that the customer's were taken care of in a timely order. It was a very time consuming but the end result paid off.
These are just a few of the things I did on a regular basis, I always went above and beyond my job description.
