Summary

My objective or applying for the position of first grade teacher is to use my experience from being a substitute teacher at Greenleaf Friends Academy, volunteer at GFA and as well as Deer Flat Church, Children's ministry director at Deer Flat and as a parent to create a safe and positive environment that will help shape young minds in all aspects of learning. I desire to teach the children of God's love for them and that He has a plan for their life.

Having substitute in grades k-12 at GFA , I have been introduced to the classical education model all the way through the 12th grade. I believe my experience in seeing it first hand in every grade, will allow me to set those foundations early so they can get the most benefit from the education they are receiving.

I possess a good overall knowledge of the school procedures, staff, and parents. Allowing me the unique ability to help set the foundation for the young students. I believe my experience with children, managing schedules, multi-tasking, classroom management of all grades, and executing large and small events would allow me to be an asset to the school in general. I am hardworking and would use that skill to teach these young students, to think clearly, act responsibly and serve passionately.
