- Substitute teaching:I am able to be flexible with spur of the moment job assignments. I can follow teacher plans while dealing with behaviors and academic challenges. I can implement teacher directives and add additional meaningful instruction if needed for the day. I can make plans for long-term teaching assignments to meet student needs while the teacher is out on an extended leave.
- Teaching: I can plan meaningful and creative standard-based lessons to engage students with varying skills and learning styles. I can incorporate technology, social/emotional skills, and STEM activities to enhance learning and meet student needs. I can collaborate with grade level, special forces and school leadership to best meet the needs of students. I can communicate with parents/guardians regarding student achievement and learning progress. I seek out opportunity to attend professional development opportunities and take risk to try new things with my students to best meet their needs.
- Leadership: I have served on different committees both in the school setting and outside of the school setting. I am a team player and work to do all I can to contribute to the things I commit myself to.

- School Leadership: PLC grade level team member, co-chair of PBIS behavior committee, School leadership team 3rd grade representative, Family Group team member, district curriculum council school representative, district standard based report card and curriculum mapping school representative, CPI crisis team member, mentor teacher for Grace College education practicum students, peer-to-peer teacher evaluator, CPR/ AED certified.
- Non-School Activities:church committees, Sunday school teacher, junior church leader, volunteer for community wide events such as Feed my Starving Children meal packing, monthly volunteer at rescue mission.
