Administrative Duties
Assistant to Executive Director
Serves as liaison between agency and Board of Trustees
Works with the Board Development Chair to onboard new Board members
Coordinates meeting and event logistics:
· Quarterly Board of Trustee meetings
· Staff meetings
· Annual Board meetings
· Holiday events
· Various committee meetings
Takes and distributes meeting minutes
Oversees aspects of the grant process - proofs, edits and submits grant requests and monitors reporting requirements
Oversees the agency’s Partnership Oversight Committee, a staff driven initiative that works with partners wanting to raise funds for the agency
Provides editing/writing support to staff and Board members and drafts various correspondences such as letters, emails, and campaign appeals
Donor Relations Duties
Works within the DonorPerfect Software to ensure timely delivery of acknowledgement letters
Helps manage the donor database to ensure all records are accurate and up-to-date
Runs a variety of reports such as individual campaign results, donor information, agency funding details, etc.
Cultivates relationships with donors, Board members, and constituents
Manages ThankTank, the new software that was presented to us through the Delaware Alliance for Nonprofit Advancement. Serves as the point of contact for the software and responsible for educating staff on the system and submitting feedback to ThankTank.
