- of Children and Families and SafeSpace Inc. Documenting calls in a computer database and maintaining
- a daily log for communication and statistical purposes. Maintaining accurate client records and processing
- required paperwork in a timely manner and in accordance w/funding sources and agency standards. Providing
- concrete referrals and current, effective resources to residents during their shelter stay. Advocating on behalf
- of clients with city/county agencies and other services providers. Fostering self-sufficiency by serving as a
- positive role model and guiding residents through day-to-day activities in a homelike environment. Participating
- in staff meetings, case conferences and other meetings as needed. Facilitating/co-facilitating support or
- educational groups as needed. Building service partnerships with related community-based organizations.

- In this role I was a certified facilitator for a 10 week Program called DVEC (Domestic Violence Effects
- Children.) I was in a collaborative partnership with Department of Children and Families and United for Families.
- Participants were required to attend and participant in this 10 week program I facilitated and upon completion
- and participation received a certification that was required in their case plan to either get their children back
- or prevented them from losing custody of their children. At that time, I was the only facilitator in Martin County
- for that program.
- I also have my certifications that I am Core Trained 40 hours, My Victims Compensation and Injunction
- of Protections training certifications through the State Attorney's Office and numerous other certifications
