Responsible for the effective management and coordination of a fleet of drivers and vehicles for multiple locations.
Serving as the first point-of-contact for drivers to rely on regarding deliveries and safety concerns. One of the most fundamental aspects in this role will be helping the operations run efficiently, assist with day-to-day needs, and essentially, having the flexibility to multi-task and complete assignments timely.
CUSTOMER SERVICES:
(Ground, and Air area)
Handle technical details relating to possibly international transportation, such as customs regulations and any necessary documentation.
Efficiently evaluate the costs of transportation, services and inventory within any budget or distribution strategy.
Knowledge of national and international import/export legislation, able to effectively troubleshoot any issues that may arise in international freight transportation.
Relationships with Logistics mediators and work closely with package engineers to ensure the protection of freight in transportation.
Plan and coordinate loads with drivers and trucks, using most efficient routes and fuel stops
Develop efficient routes to ensure that deliveries are made in a timely fashion
Maintain a positive work environment and promote the safety of drivers
Assign loads to appointment boards that allow for pick-up and delivery in timely manner
Negotiate contract and pricing agreements with carriers
Bring/build new client portfolio for new business opportunities
Complete all paperwork associated with loads, update records in database and keep Customer Service informed
Maintain excellent relationship and communication with costumers, drivers and mechanics to ensure the success of business operations to meet company and customer requirements
Update customers on the status of their deliveries including any delays that occur
Maintain contact with drivers throughout their shifts and address any routing issues they might have on time of cargo pick-up or delivery
Supervise all equipment and truck maintenance
Other duties as requested
The Onsite Manager is responsible for the property to which they are assigned to and is accountable to the Regional Property Manager for all day to day property operations. The Onsite Manager is accountable for overseeing property maintenance, collecting rent, lease violation and late fees, investigating and resolving tenant complaints and issues, preparing necessary reports, and supervision of the on-site staff / maintenance personnel. The Onsite Manager must demonstrate the ability to understand financial goals, operate assets in owner's’ best interest, maintain accurate records of all community transactions and submit property reports on a timely basis.
