My name is Elsa Podesta, and I am currently 18 years old (turning 19 in September). I am from Darby, MT looking to find skills to help me grow. Growing up the biggest thing I learned was take any opportunity that comes your way and being determined to do better than your best. I hope that you will consider my resume and find that I am just right to fulfill this position. I wish to see what it is like to work in a law firm to get a better or sort of a better grasp of the criminal justice system. This job opportunity will help out greatly as I go through college and build a career path for myself.
I will also not be able to start until July 28th, 2021. From then on I plan on working during the Fall Semester but will try and determine if I will be available after.
Thank you for your consideration and hopefully I will hear back from you soon!
I was salutatorian of my class graduating with a 3.95 GPA, I was secretary of my class for 2 years, I had received high honors every year and awards from all my classes, I was in Student Council for 4 years; Freshman year I was secretary, Sophomore year I was the representative for the School Board, Junior Year I was the Junior class representative, and my Senior year I was Vice President. I am still apart of the National Honors Society; I did travel club (A club where you had to fundraise all your money to go on a trip to other countries and learn about them.) I was selected to go to ALA Girls State, I was in a club called Youth Legislature, I was a part of Model United Nations, I was in Rotary club and elected president (at the school) my Senior year (community service club/worldwide.) I was a part of the Tennis team and Cross-Country team all 4 years of high school (was captain for both teams my Senior year.) I did book club, I worked a part-time teller at a bank, and etc.
2017 to 2020
I did dual credit classes, when I graduated high school I received a 3.7 GPA with the college and graduating with 29 college credits. I was on high honor roll every year (correlated with my high school honor roll.) When I transferred over to Brigham Young University of Idaho only 23 of the 29 credits transferred.
I am working on my sociology degree, but I want to add it as an additional skill when I go into criminology or criminal justice. I am also taking a communications class called ‘Interpersonal Practice and Theory'.
