Accomplishments

One of the things I'm proudest of is my Affiliation and Volunteer work with LifeWaters.org. My involvement with this group combines my passion for physical therapy and independent outcomes with my love for the sport of Scuba Diving. As an Professional Scuba Instructor and Instructor Trainer for SDI I'm able to combine my skills and assist disabled individuals. LifeWater's Goal is to provide Disabled Veterans, Disabled Individuals and First Responders with an inclusive recreational activity that will also offer them therapeutic benefits. We train adaptive SDI Scubility and then also train dive buddies to assist the disabled divers so that the benefits of water therapy can be obtained! It's awesome.

As a Physical Therapist, it was a joy to see students that I worked with from age 3, graduate from school and continue on to adulthood as independently functioning adults with ongoing education and job skills and professions. Those are proud moments that filled my 37 years as a PT.

Retirement is great but I'm looking to fill some time and continue to assist others.
