Rather, use your judgment to make sure the resume you submit contains up-to-date information and fully reflects your current qualifications. Review your resume when any information on it changes. Maybe you got a new job, received a promotion, gained a skill, or took on additional responsibilities in your role. Some types of positions require you to maintain a license or certification – make sure your resume shows your most recent date of recertification or license renewal. Don't forget to update immediately if your contact information changes. The last thing you want is an employer trying to reach you at the wrong cell number.
