I had the honor of being one of eight new hires out of thirty thousand applicant to work for Caterpillar new warehouse in Bogart GA. Where my duties consisted of learning the build process and teaching new hires as they came to the facility. We also helped great the build process and work instruction for the production of the 308, 305, 304 and 303 models of the Mini Hydraulic Excavator. I was apart of a great team that worked closely with the manufacturing and design engineers. We help implement changes to the work instruction to ensure good ergonomics and safety while Creating the highest machines for our customers. I discover a major quality defect that posed a safety risk to the customers and save the company Millions of dollars. I was awarded my the leadership team for my accomplishment and dedication to the company and my work. Before accepting the job at Caterpillar, I also had the privilege of work with an amazing group where we received the Quality Of Excellence Award three years in a row from Chevrolet, whom we manufactured steering gears for.
