New Model Team Associate(current position)- Provides support for the support of production teams in terms of training and feedback for model changes. Lead Launch Champions and OSPA in how to build and train associates on new model projects. Learned technical content of model changes; Identification, scheduling and completion of training needs; Serves as a contact between Production Area, Engineering, Planning and other affected areas; Training in TIAS, DZA, VisView, IPSQ and other systems.
OSPA(total of 4 years)- Planned and paced work efficiently in order to achieve production goals; Maintained a lean work environment while keeping a clean and safe workplace. Support Assembly Line associates as needed to keep production running; Relay information from Section Leader, Managers and Quality to line associates. Made associate work schedules and maintained pivot tables for associate defects; Assisted cost center and section leaders in any way needed to maintain a continuous work flow. Helped with line-balance ideas and training of new associates.
Inline Reworker/DSC- Assist in maintaining a direct pass for vehicles leaving the Assembly Area; Communicate critical information to associates on all levels, from production associates to management, to ensure that quality issues are solved and defects are taken care of; Provide assistance in the Assembly Area to help maintain a flow of quality built vehicles throughout the production area to include working on-line and other duties assigned by management; Knowledge gained regarding how to re-work in numerous cost centers in assembly areas (including Zone 2, 3, 4, 5, F1A & F1B) where I also help associates maintain a constant work flow; Ensure that all open defects are cleared out of PCSQ and/or FMS and the proper associates are notified to resolve production.
External Quality Rep. Temp position(8 Months)- Handled all quality issues for the seat plant #2 at Faurecia; Learned processes and assisted Faurecia’s Quality Department in developing ways to ensure a quality product; Assisted with the quality QZ audit process and maintained a flow chart of trends; Communicated all information to the BMW Manufacturing Company contact (External SQA); Attended meetings with Faurecia’s suppliers to ensure quality; Maintained a tracking system of all shipments of seats being delivered to BMW as well as QZ audits of the product; Worked closely with a seat quality expert from Germany, BMW's quality department, Quality Engineers, associates and management to help solve quality issues coming from the suppliers.
Assembly Production online worker- Operate production jobs online. Gained valuable knowledge of every job in the cost center; Assist in the training of new associates to ensure processes were performed in accordance with BMW Manufacturing Company standards; Continuously provide improvement ideas for online job processes, quality and safety preventative measures to staff as well as the Quality Department.
