- My role at Grace Point was to be the lead pastor of a church plant of Crossroads
- Community Church. As campus pastor, my responsibilities were to grow our New
- Lenox campus by strengthening the core team already in place, provide congregational
- Care, develop key ministry teams at our site, preach weekly, and intentionally reach out to the community.
- Church Planting:
- Passionately deliver the vision and purpose to the planting team

- As the associate pastor I was responsible to oversee these five ministries of the church:
- Christian Education, Community Groups, Marriage and Family, Media/Communication,
- And Student Ministries.
- Christian Education- Curriculum planning for Pre-K through 12th grade, equipping volunteers to become leaders of ministry teams, and casting a vision for the children's education that is both theologically sound and applicable.
- Community Groups- Establishing a vision for and developing small groups as the church transitioned from a Sunday school model to evangelistic community groups.
- Marriage and Family- In consultation with the senior pastor, assessing needs in the church and creating ways to strengthen marriage and families. Setting up and co-teaching marriage classes, marriage retreats, and developing a long-term strategy for building healthy, lifelong, Christ-centered marriages.
- Media/Communications- Ensure that all of the church's media outlets are being utilized to communicate with our members and community throughout the week about church functions, prayer requests, and physical needs. My weekly duties included running and updating the church website, Facebook page, twitter account, and other means of public communication.
- Student Ministries- Continuing to oversee the student ministry for middle school and high school students each week. In addition to planning youth events and meeting regularly with students, I was also responsible for creating and teaching the curriculum weekly.

- Learning how to work with the senior pastor to develop a vision for the church and implement action towards achieving that vision
- Assisting the senior pastor with duties such as member care, planning special events, general administrative functions, and preaching in his absence
- Creating and executing the over-arching purpose of Gospel-centered education for our children, youth, and adults
- Training and equipping volunteers to take ownership of their skill sets and accomplish the tasks needed for the proclamation of the Gospel
