Currently enrolled in the Doctorate program at Grand Canyon University studying Doctor of Education in Organizational Leadership: Behavioral Health. I currently hold a Masters of Science in Addiction Professional Counseling from an accredited university. I am licensed in Addiction Counseling LASAC # 15414. I have earned Bachelor of Science degree in Psychology. I am trained in the the field of clinical trauma and have been working as a Clinical Trauma/Addiction Therapist while employed with The Healing Journey in Yuma Arizona. I am currently contracted as the License Revocation Assessor for Yavapai Behavioral Services- probation. I currently hold a weekend position as a contracted therapist facilitating domestic violence and substance abuse groups for Yavapai Behavioral Services -probation. Prior to this position I worked as a child and family therapist/Clinical coordinator with Child and Family Support Services. I have a passion for serving those individuals affected by the addiction epidemic to include furthering my education surrounding said disciplines. I am dedicated to supporting patients in understanding emotional issues beneath substance abuse and mental health. I have experience in the Intensive Outpatient Group with a talent for understanding those individuals working through mandated programs, relapse prevention, motivational interviewing and adept at managing concurrent objectives to promote efficiency and influence positive outcome.
