I'm a very focused individual who is extremely passionate about sports cards/trading cards and have been involved in the hobby since 1996. I have also been enjoying actively submitting cards for grading since 2010. I feel like this would truly be a dream job for me where I can share my knowledge, and also continue to learn about trading cards and other collectables. I feel like with all my experience and years dealing with cards and collectibles I would be a tremendous fit with the team at Sportscard Guaranty Corporation/SGC.
Sincerely,
Jessica Claire

I unfortunately did not finish my degree. As I started to get symptoms and was diagnosed was Crohn's Disease and it made it very difficult to complete school at that time.
However since 2016 my Crohn's Disease has been in remission and I have not had any flare up's. I have thankfully felt great ever since.
I completed High School with a NYS Regents Diploma.
A Short Summary of my Collecting/Hobby Story:
As far back as I can remember, I always enjoyed collecting. Whether it was getting a new Teenage Mutant Ninja Turtle action figure or the latest Lego Set. The passion and joy for collecting was there.
However at around the age of nine I began watching the 1997 NBA Playoffs. More Specifically the Chicago Bulls and Michael Jordan and I became mesmerized. I soon found out and discovered basketball cards through my uncle. As I started to buy packs of 1996 NBA Hoops and 1996 Skybox Premium, I became instantly hooked.
My goal was to pull and own any Michael Jordan card. When I finally did pull my first, a 1996 Skybox Premium Pointmen #247 Jordan, I just wanted more and as I grew so did my card collection.
As I got older I did take sometime off (3-4 years) from buying alot of new cards. However, I always kept up with the new happenings in the trading card world. Purchasing and reading new Beckett and Tuff Stuff magazine's as well as looking cards up online.
I got more back involved in the hobby around 2010. Right around Stephen Strasburg Mania and it didn't take much to pick up where I left off and ever since i've been buying and collecting non stop. As well as steadily submitting cards for grading.
Most of my family enjoy collecting and take part in the hobby, my Mother, Uncles etc. It's something we all enjoy and has given us many great moments.
Whether it's a 1955 Topps #164 Roberto Clemente or a 2019 Panini Prizm #248 Zion Williamson. It doesn't matter because it's all about the thrill and chase to add and acquire a card to my collection.
Through the years alot of things have changed. However my passion and love for the hobby of collecting cards and collectibles has never wavered and I know never will because of the true joy and happiness it brings to me and my family.
