I currently work on the production line efficiently conducting a multi-task process in which I start by adding two safety plastic pieces to the inside. Next, I add adhesive to the center piece of the frame called the bar. Then I slide the bar down the middle of the frame where I then drill two screws on the bottom side and seal it with silicone to prevent water damage. Continuing to add adhesive along the sides until reaching the top side of the frame where two more screws must be drilled then sealed. To finish the product a bottom piece called a rail must be snapped into place allowing the glass once placed in to slide back and forth. Depending on the window paint must be added accordingly to the edges.
Working these events consists of very properly, carefully sorting material that comes in via vehicle drive in. The many responsibilities I've been given are to safely communicate with the customers proper safety regulations while offloading waste and tending to their needs. I began working with E-waste managing the electrical waste upon entry due to age and licensing. eventually I moved on to handling Hazardous waste when age appropriate aswell completing proper Hazwhopper licensing. There I take on the many roles of either disposing oils, sorting paints, separating aerosols, batteries, or lightbulbs.
