Clinic Minneapolis, MN Patient Representative Clinic Lead Provide day to day work direction, mentoring, and troubleshooting at front desk. Coordinate staffing and scheduling. maintains a welcoming, friendly profile in the clinic and is responsible for the professional and efficient operation of both reception check in and check out procedures. Assists with phones and schedules future appointments and/or procedures. Utilizes strong customer service skills. Welcomes visitors, providers non clinical information, takes messages, schedules appointments, collects copays, enters and verifies health insurance information and over sees the clinic lobby/patient waiting area. arranges and accommodates interpreter services needed for patient visit. Resolves non clinical patient issues. Maximize efficiencies of the clinic schedules and reduce patient waiting times. Assist in call center and other areas when short staff.
Provide customer service for Members, Agents and Providers. Advise policy information regarding benefits. Assist with claims to be paid or to be reprocess. Team Lead is responsible for employees answering phones with the correct location title. Make sure that Codes are announced correctly and the correct Code Teams respond. Look over documentation of employees. Update Amcom for doctors schedule. Look over pages sent out to make sure policy and procedure is being followed. Give assistance to providers who need a new pager and program them. Check voice mail and contact the clinic location with information. Assist patients over the phone. Give employees daily tasks and assign them lunch and break times. Look over monthly schedule to make sure the switchboard has proper coverage. Run reports from CISCO system. Cancel appointments in Epic. Handle projects assigned from supervisor.
Call Center. Coordinates inpatient admissions to acute care units from the time of decision to admit, to placement of patient in an appropriate bed. Performs entry into ADT system, as well as transfers and discharges patient accounts in a timely and accurate manner. Facilitates pre-planning of scheduled admissions and unit-to-unit transfers.
Data entry charge tickets, receptionist-Pt check in/check out, prep charts, referrals, file charts, surgery cards, supply tickets and then check to make sure all information is correct in the Cerner System. Data entry all copays from the Minneapolis location on a daily basis and make deposit to bank. Working with EOBs. Help out with lock box. The lock box has electronic deposits and regular deposits from the bank. Electronics are Health partners, Medicare and Blue cross Blue Shield and MA. Do the mail, which includes Copays from patients and insurance payments for the patient accounts. Rotation of balancing the A/R book. Opening mail and separating to give to the right person. Help out with in other areas where needed. Evenings and weekend Position. 6:00 p.m. to close. I greet and help customers with their needs and answer questions regarding products and services we provide in the store and available on line. Cashier and handle returns. I register Bridal couples who are seeking assistance with their wedding list for guests. Showing them our Fine China to our everyday table wear and things to help them with everyday life styles. Give customer satisfaction. Handle freight and stocking. Straightening and cleaning departments within the store before closing. Making sure all areas are injury free for employees and customers. Keeping an eye alert on internal and external theft. Writing down events with empty product packages in logbook and marking on map. A team player and help wherever needed.
