Prior experiences have included "on the job training with the brain injured population, visual/perceptual training, pre-driving skills, cognition skills needed for school/work, ADLs, trained clients in selling "to the customer", customer service, computer use in creating digital images to spotlight particular items/ create promotional brochures and signage, increasing their levels of comfortability/acceptance by hearing others stories. I was the only Occupational Therapist, along with 4 Physical Therapists from Beaumont Hospital, to present to the group. I led the Energy Conservation Seminar and demonstrated use of products to increase independence and conserve energy, also demonstrating increased use of energy with modification of technique.
