  • As the Cupola operator I had to make sure that the iron we were melting was In the right chemistry and make changes to the recipe to make sure we are in the correct chemistry needed to make sure the molding lines were in the correct chemistry in the molding lines. also getting them in to different chemistries required for different jobs
  • Iron hauler and I had to haul iron to the holding furnaces and had to add add different alloys to the iron to maintain the correct iron chemistry in the holding furnaces and the molding lines and also required by the cupola operator if the chemistry got low from the iron coming from the cupola.
