The double one-year Masters' Degree in the interdisciplinary European Regional Program in Human Rights and Democracy is jointly run by the University of Sarajevo and the University of Bologna. The primary focus of the program consisted of practical and theoretical approach to the problem-solving dynamics of human rights and democratic consolidation, aiming to deepen the knowledge for its application in contemporary governance and conflicts.
The one-year Master of Arts in Public Policy focused on key public policy processes and policy analysis; political institutions; public management and administration; micro- and macroeconomics; ethics and public policy; and qualitative and quantitative research methods seeking to train future decision-makers and policy experts.
The program focused on core values of leadership and practical understanding of the institutions of American government; constitutional law; political systems in Africa, Asia, Europe and Latin America; foreign policy and international relations; as well as political theory in the past with an emphasis on the present.
The title of M.A. thesis at the University of Bologna and the University of Sarajevo: "Facing History and Themselves: Amnesty Law in Republic of Macedonia," supervised by Prof. Hans-Joachim Heintze.
