I graduated high school in the year of 2012. After that I went to work for my dad doing mainly residential renovations. It would be easier to explain what we wouldn't do. Footings, HVAC, natural gas, and concrete work would get subcontracted out. We would take care of the remaining trade work: plumbing, electrical, framing, decks and fences, roofing, dry wall, windows and doors, and flooring . That career ended for me when he passed away in June of 2013. A few weeks went by and I was hired on as a helper for an electronic security company, Pro-Tec Security. Having experience in running wire, mounting electrical hardware and making connections made the transition to this job seamless. I worked with experienced and good people; I learned a lot . Another four months went by and a better opportunity came about. My career at VSC started November of 2013. First, I was a helper and then 2 years later i acquired the skills to become a fitter and made more decisions on my own. Another year went by and a foreman position was offered to me, and I accepted. From there I was a foreman for the next three years until October of 2019 came around. I was offered to work in the office as a project manager/ estimator / designer. Since then, I've been working hard to become better at my job by analyzing more experienced associates, studying code, and learning from my mistakes. I truly enjoy the work i do because it's ever changing, challenging, and it saves lives. Now it's time for another change in my life, I feel ACI would be the perfect fit for me.
