Responsible for Human Resources: This included recruiting employees, performing background and reference checks, training and development, hiring, conducting performance appraisals, coordinating benefits, implementing corrective action, and dismissals. We employed a total of 7 full-time and 5 part-time staff members. Prepare and monitor an Annual Risk Management Plan. Implement and monitor the Strategic Plan. Received Friendship House's 1st accreditation (3 year CARF accreditation) which allowed us to continue receiving Federal and State funding. Became a Heartland United Way Partner Agency under my leadership, which resulted in led to an additional revenue stream of $25,000 and increased visibility of our agency within the community. Oversaw the adherence to our contract with Region 3 Behavioral Health Services, for contracted Substance Abuse Halfway House beds. This was a annual grant worth $500,000. Increased daily bed day rates/utilization by 64%, which is what our Region 3 income was based off of. Provided clinical supervision for three Licensed Substance Abuse Counselors. Oversaw the development of the Annual Operating Budget, and ensured we operating within the budge guidelines with the Fiscal Year. Tracked outputs and outcome measures to show our stakeholders the value that was resulting from the services we provided.
