Clean and disinfect treat rooms and equipment in-between patients.
Prepared lab cases to be sent to destination labs for processing.
Sterilize instruments; change and disposed dental traps, and flush dental lines.
Assist Dental Providers in restorative, prosthodontic, oral surgical, endodontic, orthodontic, or periodontal treatment;
Receive and schedule patients for treatment and/or record related medical history of patient.
Sterilize instruments, and sanitize materials, and equipment under OSHA guidelines.
Prepare surgical trays and packages.

Preforms chairside assistance duties, by passing and retrieving instruments, retracting and stabilizing tissues, using irrigating solution to keep area clear of debris, suctioning top and evacuation, and cutting sutures.
Fabricate temporary restorations or custom impressions from preliminary impressions; clean and polish removable appliances.
Disinfect operators', equipment and Sterilize instruments; maintaining a safe and clean working environment by adhering to infection-control policies and protocols.
Monitor dental supplies and equipment inventory weekly.
Instruct patients in oral hygiene, plaque control, and postoperative instructions prescribed by the dentist.
Performs front desk duties.
Seat, drape and prepare patient for dental provider; provide comfort during and after dental treatment. .
Use electronic health recording system for clinical activities and recording oral condition on dental and periodontal charts when applicable.
Expose process and then mounted diagnostic digital radiographs using the universal mounting system.
Takes preliminary impressions, pours and trims molds for impressions and constructs custom trays, bleaching trays and night guards.

Provide postoperative instructions prescribed by dentist to maintain oral health.
Fabricate provisional crowns and bridges for cementation and remove excess temporary cement.
Maintains supply levels and cleanliness of dental station; sterilizes instruments, materials and equipment; prepares surgical tray laying out instruments and materials.
Performs chair side assisting duties, fully anticipating dentist's need for various instruments, materials and services, in all phases of restorative, prosthodontic, and periodontal treatment as provided in general dentistry.
