    Accomplishments
    I have had the opportunity as a CO II to fill in the Shift Supervisors desk while my Sergeant was on annual leave several times. My duties consisted of but not limited to: Assigning different posts, institutional counts, building walk through and security checks, kitchen sharps count, log reviews, signing log books for accuracy, mid-night paperwork, stats & daily count sheets, checking ACOMS for releases, complete Pre-Release forms, check for a court calendar and pull appropriate files, set up any transfers in or out with the proper paperwork, outer buildings security check, hiring/firing inmates and the required paperwork, inmate time sheets, complete the daily SS report with all the necessary attachments, and passing on pertinent information to the following shift.

    I have been a FTO for the past 4 years here and for 5 years in my previous job with the Sheriff's Dept., I hold a 40- hour certificate with that department. I was assigned the responsibility of training, directing, mentoring, praising, and giving constructive criticism as well as their weekly, monthly and final evaluations. I also bring with me 15 years of report writing and investigation experience.

    I continue to read my post orders, P&P, and SOP, so when I'm in doubt of something I know where to find the answers. If I cannot clarify an issue or something is unique or unusual I will consult my supervisor/superior on a clearer definition or different direction.

    I was hired in 08/03 at Spring Creek CC, under the supervision of Sgt.s Thompson and Dillion (phone # (XXX)224-8100), in a maximum security prison. My main duties consisted of rover duties in APS, I worked House 3 for 7 months in Lima Mod (intake mod). I spent my last few months working the armed posts of the tower and rover truck. I transfered to WCC in 03/06, working under the supervision of Sgt.s Moffett, Brown, Showalter, Anderson, and Milburn (phone # (XXX)260-7264 and (XXX)260-7201). My job here is to maintain the safety and security of the facility. To insure the inmates as well as the public are safe. Rover duties include working an armed rover truck, working in a very busy daytime control room, security check of the building, pat outs, visiting, assisting the SS, Probation, Medical/Mental Health, Administration, making sure all posts are manned in all buildings. I volunteer and accept eagerly reassignments to work the various other posts in the institution WPT and WTP so that I can keep abreast of the changes that are constantly being made to improve the flow of the facility.

    Evaluate new trainees work performance, enforce policies and chain of command procedures, extensive and detailed report writing of burglaries, thefts, stolen/recovered vehicles and traffic collisions. Transported custodies to the hospital for OK to book or to the county jail facilities for booking.
